Over a 30-year Air Force career, Cam Torrens served as an air mobility pilot, diplomat, and university professor. Father of six, he and his wife live in Buena Vista, Colorado where he is an active member of Chaffee County Search and Rescue and the Central Colorado Writers group.

His newest novel "False Summit" starts out with Tyler's best friend vanishing during a search and rescue mission.

Veteran pilot, Tyler, will stop at nothing to find her — even after his experienced team fails to locate her. And it’s not long before he realizes Kristee’s disappearance may not have been an accident…

Since I can remember, I have been a reader, often having several books going at the same time. If anyone was my teacher, it was the wonderful authors who shared their hearts and souls with me through their stories. I laughed, cried, dreamed, and learned from the stories they shared. Carla Seyler worked for years as a vocational rehabilitation counselor, when sometimes the truth was stranger than fiction. Hello Ernest At the Kitchen Table: Connecting Readers and Writers-"An Now We Seek the Light"

This book is about our future citizens and future care givers. Who are they, and how are they being raised and schooled to be the best they can be. It compares the different Parenting Styles, and how technology has influenced , not only Parenting Styles, but indeed our world societies. Technology has  influenced society on so many levels. Our belief systems and expectations, no matter where in the world we live, has been influenced. Unfortunately this influence has had disastrous effects. The hand that rocks the cradle, has all the might. Let’s use this might, particularly at the global level, to allow our offspring to inherit “A Wonderful World”.
